Studio JUX presented their gorgeous Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 collection at the Amsterdam Fashion Week catwalk. The changing background colours put the show in a fresh autumny light. This also indicated the positive vibe – especially in times like these, which was the inspiration for this collection.
The designer Jitske Lundgren was inspired by the fact that in restless times, like we live in today, people tend to protect themselves from the outside world. Hence the big chunky knits, architectural inspired coats and stiffly closed collars in the collection. On the other hand Lundgren and the rest of the Studio JUX team is very much inspired and pro an open and positive attitude towards these changes in society. Studio JUX believes that embracing new opportunities will give positive change a chance. This inspiration translates in the renaissance inspired colours such as ochre, jade and bordeaux and the mix of different materials and colours.
We are in LOVE with this collection. It almost makes you long for next winter…. Almost because first the SS13 collection will bring a lot of positiveness to your wardrobe as well…. Click HERE for a little reminder
